Q&A
What made you want to travel?
“This trip was the great opportunity for me to visit Noordwijk, I heard the seaside was very peaceful and I really wanted to relax and enjoy some time with my friends.”
Where has been your favourite place in Europe?
“As someone who has been to a lot of places, especially in Europe, it’s very hard to say. I think every places are different and have different things to offer, so it depends on that and the mindset that you are travelling in.”
What is your ideal dorm size?
“I always travel with other people, and so far 6 bed dorms are pretty good, it’s a good number!”
What has been the best thing you’ve eaten?
“Nothing beats a pizza or a plate or pasta you eat in Italy. You can’t find it like that anywhere else, something about it is unique. The Dutch stroopwafel is up in my list though!”
What is your favourite thing about the Pig?
“It is a very zen spot. This chill vibe is so much different that what I’m used to, it feels great to take a break and relax.”
How do you like to travel?
“I love to travel by train. You can go to a lot of different countries or cities, and enjoy the view during all the trip. Our train system in Portugal is not the best, so I enjoy it on other countries as much as I can!”
What is one piece of advice for people wanting to travel?
“Be as spontaneous as possible. Plan, but don’t do everything strictly according to the plan, be flexible. Travelling is like following a thread, as long as you have a general idea of what you want to do and see, you will be fine. We sometimes forget that we need to relax, and enjoy the ride.”
