Q&A
What made you want to travel?
”I wanted to travel, because I believe it helps me grow as a person. Experiencing different cultures gives me new perspectives and broadens my understanding of the world.”
Where has been your favourite place in Europe?
”It really depends on what you’re looking for. For food, I would say Hungary is my favourite. But if you’re after beautiful beaches, Croatia is the place to be.”

What has been the best thing you’ve eaten?

”When I was in Slovakia in June, I tried Halusky – these mini potato dumplings, which I think is a national dish there. Then in Hungary, I had Rakott Krumpli, a layered dish with potatoes, sausage, cherry paprika etc. That one really stood out too.”
What is your favourite thing about the Pig?
”I have just checked in, but so far I really like the terrace. It’s sunny, colourful and really has a really nice vibe – perfect for relaxing and meeting people.”
How do you like to travel?
”I prefer to travel by train because I find it more comfortable and scenic. I’m not a big fan of travelling by plane. For example, I took a ferry from Croatia to Italy, which was a great experience. I also enjoy travelling on foot – walking and running when I can.”

What is one piece of advice for people wanting to travel?
”My advice depends on the kind of travelling you want to do, but overall, be intentional yet flexible. Embrace the unexpected changes in your plans – they often lead to the best experiences. Also, make an effort to get to know the people you meet along the way: it really enriches your journey.”
What is your desired dorm size?
”I prefer dorms that are mid-range in price, usually the second cheapest option. Ideally, a form with 6-8 beds feels just right – anywhere between 10-12 beds feels too crowded for me.”
